DAIRY FINANCE COMPANY
THAMES VALLEY BODY’S MEETING
ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR
The twelfth annual meeting of shareholders of the Thames Valley Dairy Finance Co., Ltd., was held in Paeroa on Thursday last, when the chairman, Mr Geo. Buchanan, presided over a good attendance of shareholders.
The report stated that although the rate of. interest charged had been reduced last year, another successful year had been experienced, which would enable the company to pay a similar dividend to that paid in previous years. Advances to the total of £14,138 had been made to clients, showing that although a similar company was now operating in the district, there was a good demand for money.
The report and balance-sheet, as printed, was adopted. The retiring directors, Messrs W. D. Nicholas and P. R. Hubbard, were re-elected, and Mr G. E. Allen was reappointed auditor.
