Mr J. G. Rickerby, district traffic manager of the. N.Z. Railways, is ii Paeroa to-day on departmental business.

Mr A. M. Samuel, M.P., arrives at Paeroa to-day. This evening be will attend the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association’s annual ball at Turua, by special request, and present the trophies won during the season.

Mr A. W. Wellstead, business agent, N.Z. Railways, arrived at Paeroa today. Arrangements have been made for Mr Wellstead to meet the members of the executive of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce to-morrow morning for the purpose of discussing railway matters affecting the town and district.
