GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. BLACK CYCLONE. “Black Cyclone,” which is to be screened to-night, is a story of the wild lands, where herds of wild horses roam the hills and plains. Rex is first seen as ,a motherless colt who is driven out of the herd of the Killer, a hideously-spotted and fiendishly tempered stallion who has. never been vanquished in battle. When Rex reaches full growth he is a magnifi■cent creature, and seeks and wins a mate. She is one day captured by the Killer, who defeats Rex in battle. SATURpAY NIGHT. THE MARRIAGE CLAUSE. “The Marriage, Clause,” which is to be shown to-morrow night, is a story of life ba’ck of the stage, and is full of the colour and romance of the career of a celebrated actress, portrayed by Billie Dove. SUBWAY SADIE. An ultra-smart fashion show, unusual scenes in New York’s subway, a night club scene that for sheer brilliance has rarely beeii equalled, a sweet and simple, storj’ well told, are. the outstanding features in “Subway Sadie,” which is also to be screened to-morrow night. BEAU GESTE. TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NEXT. The atmosphere of the Sahara, with its shifting, sliding, sandhills; the trek of the legion forces across the steaming desert sands, with the sweltering legionarie tramping In a march that seems endless. These scenes are so faithful that tihe hot fetid breath of the desert seems to rise to you in theatre. Through it all is a romance, a mystery, and a theme of brother love that will make, you throb with the idetlism and life of it. “Beau Geste” is a story of the French Foreign Legion, that famous band, a heterogeneous mass of humanity, in whose ranks swarm adventurers, heroes, criminals, and romancers. That is the setting. Into this atmosphere comes the love of three brothers, a love that borders on idolatry, with a mystery about a stolen jewel. This picture will be, screened at the Gaiety Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday next, April 26 and 27. TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, APRIL 23. “Sea Horses,” to be screened on Saturday, is a thrilling story of land and sea, and revolves around an attractive young Englishwoman who obtains a passage for herself and daughter on a freighter bound for Naples and Panda, where she expects to join her Italian husband. In Panda she discovers that her husband has degenerated, and then follows a thrilling escape into the jungle. TUESDAY, APRIL 26. On Tuesday the popular Buck Jones will be seen in “Man Four Square,” in which he performs many daring feats of 'horsemanship, and there is enough excitement to satisfy the most fastidious.
