FATE OF TURUA MAN.
DEATH FROM HEMORRHAGE,
John Doyle, of Turua, aged about 50, understoQod to be single but to have relatives In Auckland, was found dead on Thursday morning last. He was employed by the Drainage Board in cleaning the Tur.ua-Orongo roadside drain, and was noticed, by a Maori on Tuseday morning lying on the grass as though resting. On Thursday morning the Maori noticed that the body was still in the same position, and on investigation it was found that Doyle was dead. He had been ailing for some time, and was in the habit of taking frequent rests while working on drain-cleaning contracts. An inquest was held before Mr W. H. Lucas, district coroner, and a verdict of death caused by hemorrhage of the lungs was returned.
