Mr C. H. Butcher, who has been assistant clerk of the Court at Paeroa for the past five years, has received notice of transi'er on promotion to Auckland, and takes up his new dutie-s after the Easter vacation. Mr J. H. Miller, from the Magistrate’s Court, I.otoriia, succeeds Mr Butcher at I'aeioa.
Mr V. B. Murray who has been a member of the literary staff of the Morrinsville “Star” for the last four years, and who was formerly on the staff of the “Hauraki Plains Gazette,” has accepted air appointment on the “Poverty Bay Herald,” Gisborne.
