HAMILTON STOCK SALE.
The Farmers’ co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— At the weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good yarding of beef, a small entry o'f fat and stofie sheep and store cattle, and a full yarding of fat pigs. Beef and mutton, if anything, was slightly easier than the previous f week, but store sheep met with good ■— competition. Fat and store pigs sold up to last week’s rates. Beef.— Light fat steers sold to £7 12s 6d; prime fat caws and heifers £6 10s to £6 17s 6d, medium prime £5 6s to £6 ss, light cows and heifers £3 5s to £4 13s, plain heavy cows £4 2s 6d to £4 10s, rough e-’ws £3 to £4, Wylers £2 9s to £3 ss. Sheep. —Prime wethers sold to 24s 3d prime ewes to 16s 6d, good quality mixed prime 2-tcoths £l, unfinished wethers £1- extra prime woolly at lambs 275, woolly rape lambs 16s to 16s lOd good forward shorn lambs 15s kJ to 15s 4d, medium woolly lambs Ils 2d to ils 7d, culls 7s Id. pj gs Heavy baconers £3 Is to, £3 light £2 14s to £2 17s; heavy > porkers £2 8s to £2 11s. light 37s Gd to £2 ss; slips 22s to 275, weaners 7s to 14s.
