Huntly Gordon in the character of Roland Deane, the man who tried to sell a gold mine to which he had nc deed, is ideally cast. THURSDAY NIGHT. ALOMA OF THE SOUTH SEAS. One of tire most alluring stories of tlie South. Seas yet seen on the screen, a powerful drama of love and regeneration, is “Aloma of the South Seas,” to be screened to-morrow night. ' Gilda Gray is the star. THE DEMPSEY-TUNNEY FIGHT. The five-reel official film of tlie Dempsey-Tunney boxing contest is revealed as a most remarkable one in many respects, and thoroughly satisfactory in that it shows up every incident and action of the ten rounds of high-speed fighting. This picture will commence at 9.45 to-morrow night. FIREWORKS DISPLAY. TO-MORROW NIGHT’S PROGRAMME The fireworks display which is to lie held in the Domain to-morrow night promises to be quite a unique entertainment. In addition to the dazzling display o'f fireworks, the beauty and novelty of which have never previously been experienced in the district, there will be dancing in the moonlight on a specially prepared lawn, and the music is being supplied by one of the town’s leading orchestras. Dainty supper, ice creams, and sundaes will be obtainable and there will be sweets stalls, and h°op-l.a and other novelties. Wireless programmes from Australia and the Dominion will also be broadcasted during the evening.

The support of the public is contidently expected in view of the worthy cause, the children’s dental clinic 'fund, which is to receive 50' per cent, of tlie net proceeds.*
