HAMILTON STOCK SALE.

The Farmers’ co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:—

In the Franktop yards on Tuesday last we had a fair entry of beef, and values, if anything, were easier. A full number of fat and store sheep were submitted, and prices for fats were up to late rates, while (stores, failed obtain the late firm competition. The usual large entry of fat and store pigs came forward, and prices for all classes were easier, especially with young stores. Beef. —Medium fat steers £9 to £9 17s 6d, well-finished Ugh 4 , £8 to £8 Ils; heavy' fat cows £6 to £7, medium weights £5 7s to. £5 10s ; light cows and heifers £4 10s to £4 ISs.; rough and plain cows £3 to £3 Ils ; small vealers 37s 6d to £2 5s ; good Shorthorn steer calves to £2 10®, dairy cows in milk £5 to £5 7s 6d, T5-monlns Jersey-cross in-calf heifers £3 ss, weaner Jersey calves £1 to 255.

Sheep.—Fat wethers sold to 245, fat and forward 21s; fat ewes 13s to 14s, 'fat and forward Us 6d to 12 s; extra prime heavy woolly lambs 25'8 to 27s 6d, unfinished ewes 10s to Us, 4 and 5-year breeding ewes 10s? to Us, 17s aged ewes 9s to, Ils 3d, good 2tooth ewes 245, 2-tooth wethers 17s to 18s 4-<ooth wethers £l, good rape lambs 14s to 15s 6d, stores 8s to 10s. Pigs —Heavy baconers £3 8s to £3 12s, light £3 to £3 6s ; heavy porkers £2 15® to £2 19s, light £2 6s to £2 Ils ; choppers £2 12s to £3 15s ; large s’tpres 39s to £2; slips 24<si to 28s ; weaners 15s to 18s small and young 3s to 10s.
