HAMILTON STOCK SALE.

The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— In the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a small entry of cow and heifer beef but no ox beef was panned. Prices improved on the previous week’s rates. A fair entry of fat sheep were submitted, and sold up to the standard of the previous rate. Spring lamb showed a slight improvement. An extra heavy yarding of fat and s ( tore pigs came forward, baconers. selling at e,qual to 5%-d per lb„ prime porkers 6d to 6%d, and stores at I'ikte rates.

Beef.: Medium weight good quality prime heifers sold ,to £8 2s; medium prime cows £7 7s 6d, lighter £6 to £6 2s, plain heavy cows .£5 3s to £4 14s, rough £4 to £4 10s ; light vealers 32s to 37s ; fresh-conditioned cows £2 5s to £3 Is ; yearling heifers, Shorthorn cross, 25s to 355.

Sheep : Prime shorn wethers sold to 24 s, unfinished 19s 6d; extra good prime shorn ewes £l, lighter prime 16s to 17s 4d ; prime shorn hoggets 20s 9d ; spring lambs 21s 6d.

Pigs : Heavy baconers £3 10s. to £3 15s, light £3 to £3 7s ; prime porkers £2 19s to £3 3s, Lght £2 9s to £2 14s . TIME TO ACT.
