The following have been selected to represent Paeroa against Hauraki Plains at the Paeroa Domajn on Saturday next in the Frank Poland Memorial Cup competition : ’ Full-back, C. Carrick, M. Poland, R. Morrison. Emergencies : Backs, G. .Wells, W. Potter ; forwards, T. Pullar, T. Dawson. THAMES VALLEY V. WAIKATO. The following team will represent Thames Valley against Waikato at the Recreation Grounds, Morrinsville on Saturday:— Full-back, G. Towers; three-quar-ters, S. GOldsbury, H. Stoupe, McPherson ; five-eighths, Malt, Arkle; halfback, Gilpin ; rover, F. Goldshury ; forwards, F. Patterson, Young, McLaren, Peacocke, W. Taylor, Robinson, Cleave. Emergencies: Backs, McLeay, L. Ma.sters, Thorne; forwards, Keohaii, W. Crimmins. The match will commence at 2.30 p.m. Trains have been .arranged to suit all districts. A train will leave Morrinsville for Paeroa at 5.12 p.m. RETURN OF PRIMARY TEAM. The, Paeroa, Waihi, and district •members- of the victorious Thames Valley Primary Schools team returned from Auckland on Monday afternoon. They were met at the railway station by the chairman and officials of the Paeroa Rugby Union, members of the Thames Valley Rugby Union, and Mr G. H. Taylor, and were the recipients of hearty congratulations frdm all sides. The boys; were served with afternoon tea before they left for their homes.

The Northern Roller Mills Shield was brought back by the train, and is at present in Te Arolia. From there it is to be sent to Waihi for inspection, after which it will be retained at Paeroa.
