NETHERTON. FOOTBALLERS’ BENEFIT DANCE. To augment its funds for the benefit of injured players the Netherton Football Club held a dance and euchre tournament in the hall on Tuesday evening. There was a very large crowd present, as dancers attended from all parts of the Plains, and from Paeroa. The music was by Pickford's Paeroa Players, and was much enjoyed. Thg euchre tournaments were won by Mrs Bourne and Mr A. Burke, while the consolation prizes were awarded to Mrs G- Sarj.ant and Mr F. Johnson.
