Fiji is shortly to- have a new Government House.. It is reported that plans are now completed, and that tenders- are .to- be called in Fiji and Australia no mention being made of New Zealand contractors having been invited to tender. The estimated cost is £25,000. When completed the new building, it is said, will be the dominating landmark tor vessels approaching the port of Suva.
