FREQUENT OCCURRENCES. COMPLAINTS FROM NGATEA. For three evenings in. the last five ®che Ngatea township has been without . electric light. During the storm bn Wednesday evening the power went off about 7.30 o’clock, and did not come on again until about 4 a.m. Jlbout 4.4'5 p.m. on Friday the lights - about'five hours, and last ' evening the power was. off for three hours. ... Users of current for lighting, heat;ing, and'cooking. now include practi- ? cally every householder. These people are'not concerned with the - causes, but with the effect, and they are loud in their complaints. Just before .11 o’clock a *-car belonging to the board returned to Ngatea and proceeded to the fact tory transformer.. Within five minutes the necessary correction was made and the service resumed.
