The action took place in Russia before the revolution. Rudolph. Valentino appears in three distinct guises. ■. First, as a Cossack officer Wearing the most striking uniforms, of his career. Then as the. Eagle, the myserious bandit, whose exploits thrill all Rus-j sia. Then he masquerades as a French tutor and enters the home of his mortal enemy. THE LUCKY DEVIL. Take a good looking fellow with a beautiful speed car and no money to run it with. Then add a beautiful girl and her mother- in a Ford .that refuses to run. Sprinkle gingerly with speed, thrills, and laughs and you have a fair idea, of Richard Dix’s picture, “The Lucky Devil,” also to be shown to-night. Esther Ralston plays’ opposite the star. It is a tale of a young fellow who| spent .the earlier of his, life dreaming of what he would do if he ever got a good car.
