LADIES' MATCH. FUTURE ARRANGEMENTS. The members of the Paeroa Ladies’ Gclf Club will play the postponed jumble match on the local links on Wednesday, play to commence at 1.45 p.m. sharp. On Saturday next the first round of the club handicap will be played, tne first sixteen to qualify. Play will be ever iS holes, an handicap. -Entrance fee Is,
At a combined meeting of the committees of the Men’s and Ladies' Clubs held on Saturday evening it was resolved to hold a ball at an early date, and Mrs C. P. Topliss and Mr R. B. Penlington were appointed joint secretaries.
ft was also decided to hold an East Auckland golf tournament on the local links on June 3. Mr H. G. Somervell tvas appointed tournament secretary, and every endeavour is to be made to ensure the success of the undertaking. Entries for all matches close with Mr Somervell on Monday, June 1.
