TOWEBS WINS EASTER FINAL. The final games, of the Easter Bowling Tournament were concluded on the local green on Saturday afternoon in fine weather. Those left in the final at the close of play on Easter Monday evening were: W. J. Towers, G H. Taylor, and W. Purdie. Towers and Purdie were the first twtt to meet, and the former had little difficulty in disposing of this year s champion of champions.
Towers, who was playing consistently good bowls, and was right on his game, then met and defeated G. ’H. Taylor by a narrow margin. Great interest was displayed in tho concluding stages of-the game, and the winner was the recipient of hearty congratulations on his success. Tlie completion of the pemi-linate, and'probably the’final, for the Breiuin Memorial Shield will, weather permitting. be played next ’Saturday.
