MEDICAL EXAMINATION
VISIT TO PAEROA SCHOOL. PUPILS TO BE PRESENTED. Dr. Mary P: Wilson, school medical officer, and Nurse Williams, are at present visiting the Paeroa District High School. They are examining all new entrants to the primer department, andakso tlie pupils of Standards 11. and VI. Thus, in the usual course each child passing through the school is examined three times a yc;ar and a record of progress is kept. Unfortunately this school has not been visited regularly, it being three years since the previous visit, of a medical officer. It is expected .that the school will be visited yearly in the future. Dr. Wilson will be pleaded to confer with parents regarding the health of any of their children attending the school, and it is hoped that to-morrow a number of parents will avail themselves of the opportunity of being present when the pupils of the primer classes are being examined, especially the parents of those who ore not as strong and healthy as they would wish.
