GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES* TO-NIGHT “ CAPTAIN JANUARY.” Baby Peggy’s performance of "Captain January,” which is to bo shown to-night, is one of the marvels of the cinema. This mite of a child has learned the art of expressing changing emotions with an uncanny power. She is a little Mary Pickford who can count Iler birthdayjs on one. hand Baby Peggy as a player is worthy of the excellent cast supporting her, which is headed by Hobart Bosworth as the grim old lighthouse-keeper, and Miss Irene Rich as the lady wno discovers the identity of the little waif and works out the happy ending. The result of the local municipal elections will also be shown during tlie programme.
