The secretary of the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association advises that the draw for next round of the handicap tournament is as follows Mm’s Singles.—Robinson v. Pike, at Patetonga; Coppins v. Howarth, at HOjuii; Stretton v. McMillan, at. Turua ; O’Connor a bye. . Men’s Doubles.—Stretton and Hamilton v. Murphy and Murphy, at Waitakaruru ; Pike and O’Connor v. winner Williams and Crockfold v. Howarth and Mules.

ladies’ Singles—Mrs Speedy v. Mrs Bird, at Hopai ; Miss Duify v. Miss Candy, at Kopuarahi. Ladies’ Doubles.—Mrs Bird and Mrs FaiWasser v. Miss O’Connor and Mrs Hunter, at Mangawherc; Misses M. and J. Wallace v. Mrs Scott and Mrs Valentine,- at Mangawhero. All matches are to be played by April 11. The finals will probably be played at Turua op a date to be arranged —most likely the Saturday affer the match against Thames. The results of .the third round are as follows :—

Men’s Singles—S. Coppius beat G. Elvin, 70—58; J.. Howarth beat J. Anderson, 70—30 ; G. McMillan bbat H. Candy, 70—55 ; C. Stretton beat J. Robb, 70—43 ; D. Pike and M. O’Connor won by default.

Men’s Doubles.— Murphy and Murphy beat. Yeager and Quintal, 70 —57 ’ Pike and O’Connor won by default. Ladies’ Singles.—Miss Candy beat Misc Clotworthy, 50 —14 ; Miss Duffy •beat Miss Gibb, 50—36; Mrs Bird beat Mra Scott, 50—46.

Laides' Doubles. —Miss O'Connor and Mrs Hunter beat Miss Duffy, ami Miss Tizard, 50—40.
