COUNTY BRIDGE POLICY.

WEDNESDAY’S POLL. DECISION OF RATEPAYERS. A poll of the of the Hauraki Plains County on the* proposal to spread the eixsting liability for the Puke and Ngatea bridges over the whole county was held on Wednesday, and resulted in the proposal being vetoed by 253 votes to 209.

Details of the polling at the various booths are as follows :—

Total: 209 253 There was one informal vote at Kerepeehi.

The polling was very light, as there were over 1100 votes eligible to be recorded.
