GAIETY THEATRE PICTURE*. TO-NIGHT "A MAN’S MATE.” Shades of falling night in Paris I Art lovers and worshippers of beauty have nothing to ,wish for after they have seen the Fox production ‘‘A Man’s Mate,” which is to be show to-night.- In addition to John Gilbert, the star, there is Nenee Adoree, who portrays the role of an Apache girl of Paris. Gilbert, as an artist, finds her to be brilliant inspiration when she poses for his_ painting. Nor was John the only one to find inspiration. For Miss Adoree possesses charms that printer’s ink will never be sufficient to describe. Gilbert, who will be remembered for his exceptional characterisations of Frenchmen in “Monte Cristo” and “Honor First,” gives a praiseworthy interpretation in this new film. He does things with an air of nonchalance that carries off the part convincingly. The picture abounds in dramatic romance, holding interest to the finish.
