WEDDING BELLS.

C RICKETT—CARRICK. At St. Paul’s Church, Paeroa, on December 24, 1924, a wedding of local interest was solemnised between Mr Fergus Ivan Crickett, son of Mr and Mrs S J. Crickett, of Morrinsville, and Miss’ Margaret Charlotte Carrick, daughter of Mrs M. J. and the late M>- G. J. Carrick, Station Road, Paeroa The Rev. F. B. Dobson was the officiating minister. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr V. B. Carrick, and was attended oy her sister, Miss Dorothy Carrick, as bridesmaid. The best man was Mr H. 0 Crickett, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s dress was of ivory broche de chine, with an embroidered veil of tulle. The customary wreath of orange blossoms surmounted her head, and she carried a shower bouquet of roses and asparagus fern The dress of the bridesmaid was of shell pink broche de chine, with a white georgette hat, and a bouquet of pale pink roses and carnations was carried. The bride’s mother wore ' a dress of braided mole crepardine, with hat to match. The bridegroom’s mother wore a French model of kingfisher crepe de chine, .with a contrasting hat of apricot shade. Mrs G. M. Crickett was attired in brown crepe de chine and black hat.

'The happy couple left later in the dav by motor-car for Frankton, en route to Wellington and the South Island, the bride’s travelling costume being of heavily braided dove repp, with shoes and stockings to match and her hat an almond green and fawn brocaded satin.
