PERSONAL.
Mr J. W. Fleming, of Ihe firm of Messrs W. Fleming and Son, Paeroa, left on Saturday on a business and holiday trip to Australia.
Mr W. J. Clare, of Ngatea, who until recently was county inspector, has been appointed overseer of a big sewerage construction work in Onehunga. He will leave Ngatea next week.
Mr J. W. Silcock, local manager for the Northern Steam Ship Co., is at present on holiday leave. During his absence Mr T. Kay, of the Auckland office, is carrying out the duties.
