«> CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR, 1924-5 HOLIDAY DUTY ARRANGEMENTSThe Postal and Telegraph Department's holiday duty arrangements to be followed out at the Paeroa Post Office at Christmas and New Year are as follows :— Thursdays, December 25 and January 1 (Christmas Day and New Year’s Day), and Friday, December 2ft (Boxing Day) are to be observed as close holidays. On Christmas Eve and New Year": Eve posting boxen will be cleared at 5 p.m. Ou Boxing Day and New Year’s Daiall receivers will be cleared at 7 a.m. and mails closed at 8 a.m. Only express transit parcels will he despatched on these days. Deliveries by postmen will not be made on December 25 and 26, and January 1. The telephone exchange will be open on Christmas Day from 9 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day from 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m.
