NGATEA STOCK SALE. There was a big yarding at the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co.’is monthly stock sale ,at Ngatea on Monday, the offering being mostly store and fat cows. Prime fat cows realised up to £8 17s 6d, fat cows £5 to £7 ss, freshconditioned cows £3 Is to £4 Ils, store cow's 30s to 50s; small fat heifeis up to £4 18s; fresh-conditioned bullocks £7 9s to £8 5s ; bulls (potters) 50s to £5. Empty two-year-old heifers brought from 50s to £3 15s, and empty 18-months heifers, r,w.b., £2 7? 6d to £2 15s One pen of good quality heifers, r.w.b., brought £4 Is ; springing heifer.. £4 to £6 10s. A few ewes and lambs made 31s each.
