BOROUGH FINANCE.

COMMITTEE’S REPORT. At the meeting of the Paeroa. Borough Council last night the following report was received from the Finance Committee: — During the month the revenue amounted to £576 14s Id and expenditure to £264 is 3d, including the accounts which your committee recommends for payment. The balance to the credit of the District Fund Account after meeting the accounts presented for payment is £317 7s 9d. To this credit is to be added £1250, advanced to the Street Improvements and Sewerage Loan Accounts. The debit balances in the loan accounts plus the advances made by the District Fund Account are as follows : Sewerage Loan Account, £5334 5s 9d; Street Improvements Loan Account, £1297 0s 4xl; total, £6631 6s Id. The bank position of the various accounts is: Debit Sewerage Loan Account, £4884 5s 9d; debit Street Improvements Loan Account, £497 0s - 4d; less credit District Fund Account £317 7s 9d. Total; debit, £5063 18s 4g
