HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At the weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a full yarding of fat and store cattle and a small entry of sheep. Beef again sold well under good competition at late rates, and store catti.e sold readily with, the exception of yearling to 15-months. Beef. —Fat steers, £l2 to £l2 ss, medium £ll to £ll 14s, light and well done £9 6s to £lO 13s ; fat cows and heifers £7 to £7 12p 6d, medium £5 15s to £6 15s, light and unfinished £4 to £4 15s ; fresh-conditioned cows £3 to £3 10s ; good framed steers £2 5s to £2 16s, ordinary 30s to £2; good vealers £3 to £4; extra good quality 15-m.onths Shorthorn heifers £2 15s, others 35s to £2; yearling Jerseycross heifei)s £2 5s ; yearling Shorthorn bulls 5% to 7% guineas. As usual there was a good demand for sheep of all classes, which sold readily at the following prices : Fat woolly wethers £2 6s, forward 4 and 6tooth wethers in wool 38s 9d, fresh 2 and 4-tooth shorn jwethers, small, 28s 6d, best fat ewes 28s, fat lambs 32s to 345. Pigs again came forward in the usual large numbers and sold well up to late rates. Heavy baconers’ £3 5s to £3 10s, medium £3 to £3 3s ; light baconers and good porkers £2 15s to £3 ; light to medium porkens £2 5s to £2 10s, unfinished 35s to £2 ; slips 26s to- 335; best weaners 23s to 255, small and young 15s to £l.
