OBITUARY.
MR. GEORGE EDWARD WILSON. The death took place suddenly of a well-known local resident in the person of Mr George Edward Wilson early this morning at his residence, Mill Road, Paeroa, at the age of 67 ■years. The deceased, who was an engineer, had been employed by the Public Works Department at the Puke workshops during the past four years. The late Mr Wilson first came to Paeroa many years ago, and followed the occupation of farming, and also did a little engineering work. He left a few years later for Whangarei, where he entered into business on his own account, returning to Paeroa about five yeans ago. Deceased was in normal health on retiring to bed last night, but during the early morning he was taken with a heart seizure and expired before the doctor arrived. An inquest will not be necessary. The sympathy of a wide circlje of friends is extended to the widow and a grown-up family of two daughters and two sons, who are left to mourn their loss.
