SOLICITOR IN TROUBLE.
TRUST MONEY TRANSACTIONS. COURT GRANTS ADJOURNMENT. An” application was made to tne Full Court at Wellington on Wednesday last to have the name of John Leslie Hanna, solicitor, of Paeroa, struck off the rolls, the ground stated being misappropriation of trust money. Mr A. W. Blair, who appeared for Mr Hanna, asked for an adjournment in order that an audit in course of preparation might- be placed before the Court. Mr Hanna, he said, had had only a few days iii which to get his affairs into order. The moneys had been paid, he had been suspended from practice, anil if the Court found that his name should be struck off the rolls that could be done. He would like, however, to present an explanation which in- the short notice he had received he could not adequately do at present. An adjournment was granted until to-day.
