PERSONAL.
Hiis Worship the Mayor (Mr W. Marshall) and the chairman of the Ohinemuri County Council (Mr A. R. Robinson) left Paeroa yesterday for Auckland to attend a meeting of local bodies convened by Sir James Gunson to discuss the proposals contained in the Motor Vehicles Bill. Mr F. W. Wilks, secondary assistant at the Paeroa District High School who has been absent on sick leave consequent upon war disabilities for the past six months, expects to resume duty immediately after the present school holidays.
