TONIGHT. THE WOMAN WITH FOUR FACES. To save thousands of men, women, and children from a fate worse than death a girl crook elects to aid a district attorney in his individual campaign, unsanctioned by authority, against a ring o£ malefactors. Betty Comp-'im plays this role in a new Paramount picture to be screened at the Gaiety Theatre to-night, “The Woman With Four Faces.” ■ It is a Herbert Brenon production, and was adapti d by George Hopkins from a story by Bayard Veilier. Richard Dix is featured with Miss Compson. WEST FOOTBALL CLUB’S SOCIAL. A reminder is given to the public that the annual Euchre Tournament and Lance organised by the members and supporters of the West Football Club will be held in the Gaiety Theatre, Paeroa, to-morrow evening. No effort has been spared by an energetic committee to ensure the success of the function, and as the proceeds are to be handed to an injured club player it is to be hoped that liberal support will be accorded the undertaking. Valuable prizes have been offered to the winners of the euchre tournament, and full orchestral music has been arranged for dancing. The opportunity will be taken to present the medals and trophies won by players during the season to-morrow night.
