Inclement weather again interfered with the programme on Saturday last, and in consequence the competition for the president’s trophy for the men was postponed to a date to be arranged later. Next Saturday the men will play a four ball best ball bogey handicap, over 18 holes. The entrance fee has been fixed at 2s for each player, and the draw for partners will take place at 2 P.m. share.

LADIES’ COMPETITIONS.

The medal round played last Saturday was won by Mrs Miller. The best cards returned were: Mrs Miller, 100 —19 —81 ; Miss M. Thorp, 118 —36 —B2 ; Mrs Bray, 92—9—83 ; Mrs Silcock, 117—31—86 ; Mrs Arthur, 112— 22—90 ; Mrs Bain, 129 —35 —94 ; Miss Poland, 123—30—93.
