Mr H. Poland, M.P., leaves Paeroa for Wellington to-night to attend the opening of Parliament.

Mr J. M. Cochrane, who lias been staff inspector at Tauranga to the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., for the past three years, has resigned that position and is rejoining the staff of the National Bank of New Zealand, taking over the management of the Te Aroha branch on July 1. Mr Cochrane was at one time manager of the Paeroa branch.
