POLICE COURT.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1931. (Before Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M.) At the Paeroa Police Court yesterday the following cases were deal! with ;— SEPARATION ORDER. Mrs Cicely A. Hill applied for maintenance. separation, and guardianship orders against her husband, William G. Hill, miner, of Waihi, on the grounds of failure to maintain. Mr C. N. O’neill appeared for the plaintiff and defendant conducted his own case. After hearing both sides His Worship granted a separation order and directed that defendant should contribute £2 per week maintenance, and pay the sum of £2l off the arrears of maintenance. Plaintiff- was also given guardianship of the child, reasonable access to be granted defendant. MAINTENANCE ORDER. Beatrice E. M. Stevenson, wife "f Robert T. Stevenson, claimed maintenance at £2 per week, and arrears of maintenance amounting to £63 10's. Defendant was ordered to contribute £2 per week, plus 10s per week until the arrears were paid off, and also *o keep the current payments up to date; in default two months’ imprisonment in Auckland Gaol.
