PLAINS SHOW.
< TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY. ARRANGEMENTS WELL IN HAND. . Arrangements for the fourth annual show of the Haur.aki Plains A. and P. Association, which will be held at Ngatca on Saturday next, are now complete, and given good weather the function will be bigger, better, and brighter than in previous years. The horse events, which are usually the chief attraction, will be keenly contested, there being splendid entries in this section. Entries for the other sections are also good. Several applicaHons have been received for space for side-shows and machinery exhibits. Counter luncheon and refreshments will be available at a booth in charge of officers of the association. The care of horses and vehicles of those coming from a distance will be undertaken by officers of the association. In the evening a picture entertainment interspersed with musical items will be given in the NgateaHall. A working bee to erect the hurdles, tents, etc., will oe held iomorrow. and perhaps on F’iday, and with this everything possible has been done tc make the show a success.
