PERSONAL.

Mr W. Lockie Gannon was in Paeroa yesterday on business connected with the borough street improvement kcheme.

Mr H. G. Somervell, district inspector of the A.M.P. Society, leaves Paeroa to-day to attend the annual conference of-his society in Wellington. Mr Somervell expects to be absent from Paeroa for about a month.

Mr T. J. V. Dunlop, editor-manager of the “Luminary,” Kawakawa, who, together with his wife,, has been visiting friends in Paeroa, returned to the North yesterday.

Constable J. O’Neill, of Katikati, is relieving Constable J. McClinchy, who is nn holiday leave, at the local police station.
