In view of the heavy expense, and of the fact that so few visitors could be present, it was decided not to have a dinner atfer the show for the judged and the officials, as in previous years, but the hall will be secured for that night for some function, .the nature of which will be decided later. Luncheon for the judges and the stewards will be provided on the ground so as not to unduly interrupt the judging at a time when the greatest number of visitors are present.

Amongst many other details that have been decided is to have good portable hurdles constructed. The contracts for the permanent improvement of *’ the association s ground at Kerepeehi are nearing completion. Much draining and clearing has been done, and the grounds will shortly be in a state to let for grazing purposes.
