INTERESTING BOOKLET.
“THE EMPIRE’S DAIRY FARM.” We have to acknowledge from the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Hamilton the receipt of a 96-page booklet entitled “The Empire’s Daily Farm,” which is thoroughly descriptive of the company’s growth and activities. In publishing the booklet the management of the company has spared no trouble to supply authoritative information, and the aim has been to outline the economic evolution that has enabled the dairying industry in the South Auckland province to cope with the actual conditions existing, and to build up thepresent extensive organisation, which is unrivalled elsewhere in the world. The dairy company is undertaking a wide distribution of the booklet throughout Britain, United States and Canade in the hope that it will serve to increase knowledge and interest in New Zealand dairy produce. The company is to be congratulated for publishing “The Empire’s Dairy Farm,’’ which not only accurately describes the enterprise and resourcefulness of the company, but shows the special suitability of this country for dairying purposes, and the energetic character of the New Zealand dairy farmer.
