BOWLING.
WAIHI-PAEBOA MATCH. On Saturday afternoon last the Waihi Bowling Club sent eight full rinks to try conclusions with the Paeroa bowlers on the local green. The match was played under idea! weather conditions, and the green was fast and in tip-top order, and a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. The local players were decisively beaten by the Waihi trundlers. The .only rink in the home team to score a win was the one skipped by P. Williams. Both de Castro’s and Pinder’s teams had hard luck in do'; beatinfe their opponents, the games being drawn in each case, The following are the scores, Waihi being mentioned first in each case:— .
