PERSONAL.
Dr. Alfred Gray has settled in the Thames, in place of Dr. Derrick, who is returning to the Old Country. His Worship the Mayor (Mr W. Marshall) and Mr H. Poland,, M.P., returned from a municipal business trip to Wellington yesterday morning. The Rev. Henry B. Gray has accepted a call to the Waihi Presbyterian Church. The Presbytery of Waikato has arranged- for the induction to take place on October 16.
