TUESDAY, MAY 1, 1923. (Before Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M.) JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. judgment was given by default in the following cases :— C. Rehm v. G. Ludwig, £6 14s 9d, costs £1 3s ; same v. J. Morrow, £9 16s sd, costs £1 '4s ; E. W. Porritt v. Hone Ngat,ara, £39 8s 9d" costs £4 7s ; T. Wilson v. Bowan Pirakea, £l, costs £1 3s; W, J. Potter, liquidator for. Hague-Smith, Ltd., v. Sarah Sinnett, £3 17s lOd, costs £1 8s 6d. Haora Tareranui (Mr Hanna) v. C, V. Crosby (Mr Porritt), £132.35. This was a claim for rent and damages. After hearing evidence judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount paid into court, namely, £25 3s, and, the plaintiff was non-suited on the other part of the claim on the ground that the court had no jurisdiction. Costs amounting to £2 12s were allowed defendant. W. J. Pott,er, liquidator for HagueSmith, Ltd., v. W. Smith. £lO 3s 2d Defendant was ordered tp pay the balance due, including costs £9 13s 2d, hi default eight days in Thames gaol. An attachment order for £63 2s 6c on the application of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co.. Ltd., against D. FClotworthy, judgment debtor, and the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., was made absolute. Costs £1 4s.
