Hauraki Plains, and Thames to the Thames Harbour Board, the results are as follows:— S J. Laughlin __ 442 D. G. McMillan __ 428 C. W. Harris __ __ 395 J. McCormick — — 371 Messrs S. J. Laughlin and D. G. McMillan are therefore elected. The foregoing figures weie supplied just before noon'to-day by the local returning officer, Mr R. W .Evans. For the Piako County Council representative, Mr A. A. Wagstaff defeated Mr H. O. Cooper by a big majority.
