A The many friends of the late Mr Lawson R. Tocker will regret to hear of his death, which took place in the Patea Hospital on the 11th inst. The deceased was well known on the road between Paeroa, Waihi, and Waitekauri in the old carting days. Subsequently he lived at Komata and Maratoto, where he was farming, afterwards removing to Patea. He was an ir.mate of the Patea Hosiptal for some eight months prior to his death.
