MEAT PRODUCERS’ BOARD. . — x The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cablegram, dated March 15, from its London office, relating to the frozen meat market “Smithfield today slightly better tone, but the cold, wet weather limiting sale of lamb. Better demands a 1 e certain at Easter, and earlier if weather changes. To-day’s value New . Zealand lamb : Best brands, twos and eights, 12%d to 13d; inferior brands, 11 %d to 12d ; wethers, ones, sevens, threes, B%d to 9%d ; wetheis, nines and fives 7d to B%d ; ewes 7d to 7%d, and 6%d tp 6%d. Chilled beef temporarily short, but. large supplies expected next week.’’ 1
