CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. STRANGE IDOLS. “Strange Idols” is the interesting title of a Fox picture in which that capable actor, Dustin Farnum, appeals as tlie star and which is one of tlie attractions for to-night. The story is of a love match between two temperaments diametrically opposed—a rich lumberman from tlie forests and a beautiful cabaret dancer of gayest New York ; a man in whom the call of the wild finds a ready response and a girl to whom the white lights qf Broadway arc as the breath of life. The subject is one in which the possibilities for intense dramatic actio.) are obvious —and it is equally obvious that Dustin Farnum should handle the star role with great skill and good taste. THOU SHALT NOT. In addition to the above masterpiece will be presented Evelyn Nesbit in “Thou Shalt Not.” WEDNESDAY. SPECIAL MATINEE. The opening chapter of “Robinson Crusoe” will bes creened at. a matinee for school children at 3 o’clock on Wednesday. It is to be hoped that every child will take advantage of the gold watch competition and secure the first section of map which will be given away every Wednesday until the whole map is distributed. The first boy and girl who place them together correctly will lie adjudged the winner.
