CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES-TO-NIGHT. “ACROSS THE DEADLINE,” For twenty odd years a line that no one could see with the eye and yet that all men marked well had cut. the town of Gilead into two parts. The nprthwocds lumbering village was as evenly divided as though emissaries from Heaven and Hell had agreed on an even split. On one side was the community of stern, godlike spirits—ruled over by Enoch. Kidder. On the other the air was rife with the cry of pleasure and the curse of hate, for it was a maelstrom of evil things presided over by A aron Kidder, estranged brother Of Enoch. The feud had started when both men were young and a girl they both loved, had chosen Enoch. See how Aaron planned to square things with Enoch through an attack upon the refutation of his stalwart son in "Across the Deadline,” which is to be screened to-night. TO-MORROW NIGHT. “DUDS.” For to-morrow night has 1 been secured “Duds,” the latest Goldwyn starring vehicle for Tom Moore. The story deals, with the smuggling, of the famous Sultana diamond into America. Tom Moore portrays the part of the discharged army captain engaged to track down the smugglers. His work proved extremely dangerous and the picture gives many thrills. It. affords Tom Moore many opportunities to reveal his qualities as a dramatic actor, as well as to imbue his part with the charm of his personality.
