TRIP TO TE AROHA. Glorious weather prevailed throughout the week-end, and al,I branches of spbrt were, thoroughly enjoyed. A party of local bowlers, comprising seven full rinks, journeyed to Te Aroh,a and played a match against that club, and a thoroughly enjoyr able afternoon was spent, Mr Kendrick, president of Wie Te. Aroha Bowling Club,' briefly welcomed the Paeroa bowlers, and although they were nbt all. victorious ih their different rinks he congratulated them .011 the stand made and trusted that they had . enjoyed the afternoon’s T outing. ' Mr C. Cane responded on behalf o.f the Paeroa club, and thanked the.-Te Aroha bowlers for their generous hospitality, and congratulated them on their successful play during the afternoon.
