■ CANDIDATES NOMINATED. Nominations for candidates to contest the forthcoming . parliamentary elections closed to-day. There are only two candidates nominated for the Ohinemuri electorate, namely, Mr S. S. Allen, of Morrinsville' (Reform), and Mr H. Poland, of Paeroa (Independent Liberal), the sitting member. Mr S. S. Allen has been nominated by the following: J. Willoughby, labourer ; W. J. Verry, blacksmith ; T. Gilmour, mine manager; K. J. Mackihnon, miner; W, F. L. Jenkins, farmer; T. G. Short, medical practitioner, all of Waihi; J. Howie, farmer : W. J. Towers, decorator; B. Stansfield, auctioneer ; ,G. A. Wilson, farmer ; J. Couper, agent; D. D. Underwood, s.awyer, all of P.aerda. The nominators of; Mr H. Poland are: J. Thomas, miner, Waihi; A l . R. Robinson, farmer, Hikutaia; W. Marshall, builder, Paeroa; E. A. Sowriian, farmer, Gbrdonton; T. ; P.
