CATHOLIC SOCIAL.
AN ENJOYABLE EVENING. A very enjoyable and jolly dance was held under the auspices of the Catholic Social Committee in the Soldiers’ Club last evening. These dances have always been most popular apd well supported, and last night’s social proved even more successful and enjoyable than previous efforts. The hall was tastefully decorated, and the floor, as usual, was in splendid condition. Mr J. Treanor carried out the duties of M.C. in his usual capable and attentive manner. Mrs F. SBudd supplied the larger portion of the dance music, extras being supplied by Misses C. Taylor) apd E. Houlihan. To these ladies the promoters extend their grateful thanks and appreciation for their willing services, on which! so much of the success and pleasure of the evening depended. About 10' p.m, a delicious and dainty supper was handed round, and Mesdames G. H. Taylor, Bain, and McDougall saw that there was nothing lacking in this department.
