ST. PAUL’S SOCIAL.

AN ENJOYABLE FUNCTION* A most enjoyable social and dance was held in the Soldiers’ Club on Wednesday evening. The floor was in first-class order, and Mr Edwin Edwards carried out the onerous duties of M.C.. in an efficient manner. The music was supplied gratuitously by Mr R. Flatt, to whom the committee extends its grateful thanks. Extras were supplied by Mrs Staunton and Misses Smales, Miller, Vincent, and Mr Foster. During the evening song; were contributed by Messrs Edwards and Leo Foster. Under the supervision ofl some members of the Ladies’ Guild a most delicious supper was dispensed, and a most enjoyable and happy evening was concluded just after midnight.
